Parkhouse Garden SuppliesIn 1994 Noel Dick had a dream, to own a garden supplies yard which supplied Christchurch gardens with the best products available from all over the south island, he created Parkhouse Landscape and Garden Supplies. Noel bought the small landscape and garden supplies yard on Parkhouse Road in Sockburn with modest beginnings he started with one delivery truck, one loader and a few trailers. Noel had a strong grasp of customer service after working successfully for many years in the hospitality industry in Christchurch running the Bush Inn Hotel. Noel was also heavily involved in the community having been a scout leader for many years. Today Noel still has an involvement in the community and volunteers many hours each year with the Christchurch Santa Parade, towing the Bill and Ben Float. Recently Noel and his team Bared all they went the extra mile and took their clothes off for a worthy cause, they all posed naked for a Calender which raised thousands of dollars for the Nurse Maude Centenary Hospice, another first! With his marketing partners Noel created the slogan First for your Garden all Year Round defining what his dream and vision is and what Parkhouse Garden Supplies stands for, the best quality soils, barks, mulches and shingles to truly make peoples gardens beautiful. With new signage and colours Noels yard now in 2009 has for you 5 trucks for deliveries big and small, 3 loaders and 19 trailers and Parkhouse Garden Supplies still remains number 1 for the most number of barks, composts and shingles for your garden.
